They say one of the best ways to spend time is to spend it appreciatively, slowly, with friends. How inarguable a statement that is! Last month I managed to catch up with Rachel and Mae-Z—two of my wonderful friends—over brunch at a cafe in town (as cliché or hipster-wannabe as 'cafe brunches on weekend mornings' may sound, I still love every bit of the idea! Even the sound of it is so appealing. Truly, most cafes do live up to their purpose of providing solace to us busybees who seldom have time for much besides work or studies or other 'more important' things that demand our constant attention. That, of course, is only my frank opinion.). Just like every other good catch-up, detailed updates on personal life were narrated and hilarious high school moments relived, inducing much hearty laughter. Thereafter around that area we had an outdoor shoot, chiefly meant to showcase their clothing (after months of Rachel reminding me time and again of her need for a fashion shoot heh). Not surprising, as these two have always been the fashionistas of our class back in high school. Here Rachel is dressed all Boho-goddess as usual and Mae-Z's whole outfit is from Japan! I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the outcome of this shoot; I seldom feel very satisfied with my photos so this is a welcome change to get my motivation back on track! Huge thanks to the both of them for perfecting this shoot!! Much love xx
I absolutely LOVE the grey backdrop in these next few shots; creates such a 'Seoul Fashion Week' feel!  Don't mind me and my fantasies. If I ever do get to take photos at a Seoul Fashion Week though, I think I'd be so thoroughly enraptured I wouldn't need cafes for a whole month or perhaps even two months!!
I understand fully that this is a photography blog, not a fashion blog, but this IS a 'fashion shoot', so I suppose a brands listing is only mandatory. :) Here goes!

Out and About.

Last month I met with the talented Sonia for a photo walk around town, where we basically took pictures of each other. Sonn and I had been to the same middle/high school some years ago, but never really knew each other personally since we were in different years. Around sometime last year though, we started communicating on Instagram (upon seeing each other's photos) and one day decided to meet up, and so we finally did last month! Her style is more inclined to street and urban photography, which is quite unlike mine. Also I had never actually went out on a walk to take photos around town or the city before this, so it's about time I experienced it! So glad that it was Sonia who accompanied me on this first-time experience; wouldn't be the same if it wasn't! And that's not only because she taught me how to explore precious nooks and crannies in bustling urban areas and to be more bold when looking for the picture perfect spot, hehe. :) Really enjoyed myself that day. I think it's amazing how a simple mutual interest in photography can lead strangers (or semi-strangers, in this case) to find new friends in each other. I realised this so much more, this being my first time meeting up with someone I don't know in person for photography purposes. Hope to do this way more often, and to have more photo sessions with Sonia in the near future too of course!
Sonia's legs are goals.
These are some pictures taken by Sonia of me that I like (edited by me). She's fantastic with angles! :

I have a batch of photos from a recent shoot still in the process of editing! Excited to post them soon; Until next time! :)
